HCA Poinciana Medical Center Vertical Expansion

ACY was the General Trades and Specialty Trades contractor for the Poinciana Medical Center Vertical Expansion project. ACY performed the systematic demolition of the roof, mechanical systems, and structures on the roof to make room, and, to allow the structural steel to be placed. ACY was responsible for multiple and numerous tasks affecting the operations of the hospital and areas abutting or within the patient occupied areas. Specifically, ACY performed ICRA, setting up the separation barriers between patient occupied area and construction location, including negative air machines / ducting, ACY would do all the demolitions and staging to make access for MEP installations, and once MEPs were installed, ACY performed the' put back and finishes', re-framed walls, installed gypsum wallboard, finished, painted, installed any fixtures, cleaned up, removed ICRA barriers and demobilized from area turning completed areas over to the hospital.
